Dear Pilgrim,
We are delighted to have you join Corporate Travel on a pilgrimage to Italy in 2025, a Jubilee Year of immense spiritual significance. As we prepare for this extraordinary time, it is important to share with you some expectations regarding the conditions and circumstances in Italy this year, and how they will affect your pilgrimage experience.
The Vatican and Rome are preparing to welcome an estimated 35 million visitors during the 2025 Jubilee Year. This is a significant increase from current tourism numbers, which are already breaking records. While 2024 saw unprecedented tourist levels, 2025 is expected to double these figures. With such a massive influx of people, we anticipate large crowds, longer-than-usual lines, limited hotel availability, and extended waiting times at all attractions, restaurants, and holy sites, including the Major Basilicas and their Holy Doors. The streets of Rome will also be busier, and transportation services may experience delays due to the overwhelming number of pilgrims converging on the city.
While these challenges are unavoidable, Corporate Travel is fully committed to minimizing their impact. We are working closely with our team in Italy to manage the logistics, so that you can best focus on what matters most: prayer, reflection, and the powerful experience of drawing closer to our Lord.
Pope Francis has proclaimed the 2025 Jubilee as a “Year of Hope,” offering each of you a special opportunity to receive a plenary indulgence and witness the vibrant unity of the global Church. As a part of our responsibility to prepare you for the investment you have made in this spiritual journey, we encourage you to anticipate and embrace these unique conditions, as so many of our faithful brothers and sisters convene in Italy from across that same global Church.
We know that your spiritual journey in Italy will be unforgettable and that the memories you will create will last forever. We thank you for choosing us to be a part of your pilgrimage experience and we ask for your patience as we encounter the blessings and the challenges that await us next year. We look forward to walking alongside you as we experience the grace of the Jubilee together.
God Bless you,
