Client Relations Specialist
Responsible for communication with clients traveling on a Corporate Travel event or tour
The Client Relations Specialist is responsible for telephone and email sales and service communication, with clients traveling on Corporate Travel’s Charter Cruise and Group Tour events. Responsibilities include proactive and reactive communications with individual paying clients to ensure all elements of forthcoming trips are prepared to maximize the tour experiences. Such elements of communication include reservations and payment for trips, individual special needs or restrictions, purchase of travel insurance, general travel inquiries (questions concerning passports, ticketing, TSA regulations, etc.)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (in no particular order):
Flawlessly provide a professional, compassionate level of customer service to a wide range of personality types while maintaining integrity of Corporate Travel policies and procedures.
Author and disseminate outgoing communications regarding trip information to individual clients and client-groups.
Discuss invoices, receipts, refunds and other matters of commerce with clients.
Collect and tender relevant and accurate client information to other various Corporate Travel departments.
Train and sustain proficiency in all utilized reservation, CRM, and telephony platforms.
Stay abreast of cruise and air travel regulations (immigration and customs rules, baggage information, etc.) and ensure all client relations correspondence conforms to current regulations.
Embrace intermittent off-hour work and/or familiarization trips outside of Southeast Michigan.
Administer telephone-based sales of travel insurance product to inquiring individual clients.
Requirements:
Patience with clients and peers and the ability to present calmly while under pressure
Aptitude for work in a high-paced office setting
Moderate skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
Ability to work full-time
Ability to travel for training purposes
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Three years of customer service experience (Preferred)
High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
