Diocese of Winona-Rochester Jubilee of Young People Pilgrimage
The Diocese of Winona-Rochester invites young adults to Rome to join Bishop Robert Baron for the international celebration of the Jubilee of Young People. During that week, young adults from around the world will journey to the Eternal City for the pilgrimage experience of a lifetime. Walk through the Holy Doors of the four major Basilicas and participate in cultural, artistic, and spiritual gatherings across the city. The pilgrimage concludes with a vigil Mass with the Holy Father and expected canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Monday, July 28 - Departure
Depart USA via independent overnight flights to Rome.
Day 2: Tuesday, July 29 - Arrive in Rome | Orientation Tour
Upon arrival in Rome, meet your local Italian tour manager who will be with you throughout the pilgrimage. Board your luxury motor coach and transfer to the city-center for lunch on your own. Check in at your hotel, then head to St. Peter’s Square to attend the Welcome Mass by the Diocese of Rome. Enjoy a lovely Welcome Dinner and return to your hotel for your first overnight in Rome.
Day 3: Wednesday, July 30 - Papal Audience | St. Mary Major Basilica
Depart early in the morning to attend the Wednesday Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square*. Then, visit the Basilica of St. Mary Major to process through the Holy Doors and celebrate Mass. This evening, participate in cultural, artistic, and spiritual activities throughout Rome for the Jubilee of Young People. Return to your hotel for overnight in Rome.
Day 4: Thursday, July 31 - St. John Lateran Basilica | Pasta Making Class
Today, visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome, to process through the Holy Doors. Celebrate Mass and take time for personal prayer. Continue to the Holy Stairs and the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem to see the Passion relics. Participate in cultural, artistic, and spiritual activities throughout Rome for the Jubilee of Young People. This evening, learn the traditional art of pasta making, followed by dinner. Return to your hotel for overnight in Rome.
Day 5: Friday, August 1 - St. Peter’s Basilica | Circus Maximus
Celebrate Mass together at St. Peter’s Basilica and walk through the Holy Doors. Tour the Basilica with time for private prayer and reflections. Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the Circus Maximus. Take time to participate in cultural, artistic, and spiritual activities throughout Rome for the Jubilee of Young People. Return to your hotel for overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Saturday, August 2 - St. Paul Outside the Wall | Evening Vigil at Tor Vergata
Depart for the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, built over the resting place of the Apostle to the Gentiles. Celebrate Mass, then tour the Basilica after processing through the Holy Doors. This evening, journey to Tor Vergata for a Jubilee of Young People Evening Vigil with the Holy Father. Return to your hotel for overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Sunday, August 3 - Jubilee of Young People Mass | Canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati | Farewell Dinner
Return to Tor Vergata for the celebration of the Holy Mass presided over by the Holy Father. It is also expected that the Canonization of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati will take place at this liturgy. The remainder of the day is free to explore Rome. Tonight there will be a special Farewell Dinner to commemorate the Young Adult pilgrimage with the Diocese of Winona-Rochester. Return to your hotel for overnight in Rome
Day 8: Monday, August 4 - Return
Today, depart for the airport and your return flight to the USA.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
