Fr. Anthony Strouse Invites You to Bourbon and Basilicas
The pastoral countryside which stretches across Kentucky is known for its beauty, bourbon distilleries and horse farms. But this region is also home to a diverse number of religious communities, including Shakers, Amish, and many of the first Catholic settlements in America. Catholics began coming into Kentucky in 1775, settling primarily on the farmland frontier. Often referred to as Kentucky’s Holy Land, the area’s spiritual foundation is as strong today as ever. Join Fr. Anthony Strouse on a special “Bourbon and Basilicas” pilgrimage to this fascinating area. There will be daily Mass and visits to six different distilleries along part of the famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Don't miss this opportunity to experience this “other” Holy Land. It certainly will lift your spirits!
