This is sure to be an experience your child will never forget. Enjoy six nights in Rome, exploring all that the Eternal City has to offer. Walk in the Footsteps of the Saints, Sing in magnificent churches, and enjoy the Italian culture and cuisine (including their famous gelato). Highlights will include Christian Hamrick guiding us on a Scavi Tour (excavations under St. Peter’s Basilica) to see the tomb of St. Peter, participation in his deaconate Mass and singing during his first Mass as a deacon, pizza making, touring of major basilicas and a day trip to Orvieto to see where the Eucharistic Miracle of Corpus Christi occurred. ITINERARY
Day 1: Saturday, September 28 - Depart USA
Depart on overnight group flights from Nashville, Tennessee to Rome, Italy.
Day 2: Sunday, September 29 - Arrival in Rome
Arrive in Rome where you will be greeted by your local Italian tour manager and transferred by luxury motorcoach to your hotel for check-in. Gather for 5:00 PM Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica with hopeful anticipation of singing during the Mass. Gather for a special group welcome dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 3: Monday, September 30 - Ancient Rome | Scavi Tour
Embark on a morning tour of Ancient Rome, including the Colosseum and Roman forum. Participate in a Scavi Tour of the catacombs under St. Peter’s Basilica with Christian Hamrick as our guide(pending confirmation). Enjoy an evening walking tour to see the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona before a relaxing group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 4: Tuesday, October 1 - Day Trip to Orvieto
Depart for a day trip to Orvieto. Tour the Duomo and pray in the Chapel of the Eucharistic Miracle. Return to Rome for a delightful group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 5: Wednesday, October 2 - Papal Audience | Pizza Making | Christian Rome Tour
Set out early in the morning for St. Peter’s Square to attend the Papal Audience, with an opportunity to sing for the Holy Father immediately afterward(pending confirmation). After experiencing a pizza-making class and lunch, embark on a Christian Rome Tour, visiting St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and San Gioacchino in Prati, where Christian will celebrate his first Mass as a Deacon. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Thursday, October 3 - Diaconate Ordination Mass | St. Peter’s Basilica
Depart for the Diaconate Ordination Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. After Mass, enjoy a St. Peter’s Basilica tour. The afternoon will be at leisure for lunch on your own and exploring. In the late afternoon participate in a private tour of the Swiss Guard Barracks. Return to the hotel for rehearsal and group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Friday, October 4 - Sing at Deacon Christian’s First Mass
Celebrate with Deacon Christian as you come together to sing during his first preached Mass at the beautiful San Gioacchino in Prati. Enjoy an afternoon at your leisure. Gather for a special group farewell dinner before your last night in Rome.
Day 8: Saturday, October 5 - Return to the USA
Check out of the hotel and transfer to the Rome airport for your return flights to the USA.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS
Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (5/1/2024)
Final Payment: Balance due on or before 90 days prior to departure (6/20/2024)
All payments are non-refundable, and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions including the CTS Liability Release. All cancellations must be received in writing. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the fax or email sent by the cancelling passenger
