ITINERARY


Day 1: Thursday, April 16 - Depart

Depart from the USA on overnight flights to Rome.


Day 2: Friday, April 17 - Arrive Rome | Assisi

Upon arrival, meet your local Italian tour manager, who will accompany you throughout the pilgrimage. You will then board a luxury motor coach and transfer to Assisi. There, you will celebrate Mass at St. Mary of the Angels, followed by time for prayers and reflection. Afterward, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner in Assisi.


Day 3: Saturday, April 18 - Assisi

Start your day with Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, where you may request to visit the tomb of St. Francis. Following this, experience a guided tour of the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and the Church of St. Clare, with an opportunity to pray at the tomb of Bl. Carlo Acutis, who will be canonized in April 2025. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure, with dinner on your own and an overnight in Assisi.


Day 4: Sunday, April 19 - Orvieto | Rome

Journey to Rome with a stop in Orvieto to admire its stunning architecture and visit the site of the Eucharistic Miracle of Corpus Christi from 1263. Celebrate Mass at the Duomo of Orvieto, followed by a tour. Afterward, continue to Rome, check into your hotel, freshen up, and gather to enjoy a group dinner. Overnight in Rome.


Day 5: Monday, April 20 - St. Peter’s Basilica | Evening Walking Tour

Celebrate a morning Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, with an option to visit the crypt. A guided tour of the basilica follows, including an opportunity to climb the cupola or top of the dome. Enjoy a free afternoon before an evening walking tour of the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, and Campo de’ Fiori. Dinner is at your leisure, with an overnight in Rome.


Day 6: Tuesday, April 21 - Ancient Rome | St. Paul Outside the Walls | St. John in Lateran

Begin with Mass at St. Peter’s in Chains, followed by a guided tour of Ancient Rome, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus. Tour the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, followed by a guided tour of St. John in Lateran with time to pray on the Holy Stairs. Experience local cuisine on your own and overnight in Rome.


Day 7: Wednesday, April 22 - Papal Audience* | Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel

Attend the early morning Papal Audience*, followed by Mass. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The evening will be at your leisure with an overnight in Rome.


Day 8: Thursday, April 23 - St. Mary Major

Today, celebrate Mass at St. Mary Major, followed by a guided tour. The remainder of the day is at your leisure for shopping, prayer, and exploration. In the evening, gather for a special farewell dinner.


Day 9: Friday, April 24 - Return

Transfer to the airport for return flights home

*This price reflects a $200 per person Early Booking Discount for deposits received before April 18, 2025 and an $135 per person Check Discount for those paying the remaining balance by check after the initial deposit.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before November 17, 2025

Final Payment: Balance due on or before January 16, 2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
