ITINERARY


Day 1: Wednesday, November 12 - Departure

Depart on overnight flights from Denver, CO to Rome, Italy.


Day 2: Thursday, November 13 - Arrival | Welcome Dinner

Arrive in Rome and meet your Italian Tour Manager in the Arrivals Hall to board your private motorcoach. Transfer to the city center for lunch on your own. Check in to your hotel with time to freshen up. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Lata before a special Welcome Dinner to commemorate the start of the pilgrimage.


Day 3: Friday, November 14 - St. Peter’s Basilica | Scavi Tour

Process through the Holy Doors at St. Peter’s Basilica and celebrate Mass. Take a guided tour of the magnificent Basilica built over the resting place of St. Peter. Enjoy a traditional group lunch before participating in the Scavi tour, which explores the excavations beneath St. Peter’s. The evening is yours to explore Rome at your leisure.


Day 4: Saturday, November 15 - St. John Lateran Basilica

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Rome to plan independent activities of your choice. In the afternoon, visit St. John Lateran Basilica to celebrate Mass, process through the Holy Doors, and enjoy a tour. Afterward, experience the Holy Stairs and the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem. Gather for a group dinner in the evening.


Day 5: Sunday, November 16 - Swiss Guard Barracks | Walking Tour

Experience a special tour of the Swiss Guard Barracks before participating in the Sunday Angelus in St. Peter’s Square with the Holy Father. Then, celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Agnes before enjoying a group lunch and walking tour of historic center to see Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. The remainder of the evening is free for dinner on your own.


Day 6: Monday, November 17 - Assisi Day Trip

Today, embark on a day trip of Assisi, the City of Peace. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels before an independent lunch at your leisure. Then, take a walking tour of St. Clare and St. Francis Basilicas. Return to Rome for a traditional dinner as a group.


Day 7: Tuesday, November 18 - St. Mary Major Basilica | Vatican Museums

Spend the morning basking in la dolce vita, the sweet life. In the afternoon, gather for a group lunch prior to celebrating Mass at St. Mary Major Basilica and processing through the Holy Doors. Experience a unique, after-hours tour of the Vatican Museums, including the exquisite Sistine Chapel (pending availability). Return to the hotel for dinner on your own.


Day 8: Wednesday, November - St. Paul Outside the Walls | Farewell Dinner

Take advantage of this free morning and afternoon to enjoy the Eternal City or attend the Wednesday Papal Audience. This evening, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls and process through the Holy Doors. Tonight, there will be a special farewell dinner to mark the conclusion of the pilgrimage.


Day 9: Thursday, November 20 - Return Home

Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for return flights to Denver, CO.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before 6/15/2025

Final Payment: Balance due 8/14/2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
