ITINERARY


Day 1: Thursday, November 13 - Depart USA

Depart on optional overnight flights from New York to Rome, Italy. Group air options will be available December  2024.


Day 2: Friday, November 14 - Rome | Assisi

Benvenuti a Roma! Begin your journey with a welcome from your professional Italian tour manager before  boarding a private motor coach to Assisi, the City of  Peace. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary of the  Angels and explore the historic Portziuncola, where the Franciscan order was founded. Gather for a delightful welcome dinner and an overnight in Assisi.


Day 3: Saturday, November 15 - Assisi

Begin your day with Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Explore the St. Francis Basilica and the Church  of St. Clare, where you’ll witness the cross that inspired St. Francis to embrace a life of piety. Pay a special visit  to the Church of St. Mary Major to pray at the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. In the evening, spend your free  time indulging in regional specialties like olive oil, truffles, Norcia sausage, and cheeses. Overnight in Assisi.


Day 4: Sunday, November 16 - Rome | St. Patrick's Church

Depart for Rome and immerse yourselves in the Eternal City! Take a walking tour of the historic district including the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Celebrate Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, the American Parish in Rome, before checking in to your hotel. Gather for a group dinner and overnight in Rome.


Day 5: Monday, November 17 - St. Peter's Basilica | Pauline Sites | Private Vatican Museums

Early morning Mass celebration at St. Peter’s Basilica. Then, transfer to Tre Fontane Abby, where St. Paul was  martyred by Nero. After lunch on your own, depart for the Mamertine Prison where St. Paul was held captive in Rome. Experience an after-hours guided tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, where you will  view some of the most inspiring works of art (pending final confirmation). Enjoy an evening on your own and  overnight in Rome.


Day 6: Tuesday, November 18 - Basilicas Tour

Journey this morning to the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome. Explore the Church of the Holy Stairs and the Basilica of the Holy Cross, home to the  relic of the Passion, before enjoying a group lunch. Then, continue to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the first basilica dedicated to Our Lady. Celebrate Mass. Spend an evening in Rome at your own pace.


Day 7: Wednesday, November 19 - Papal Audience

Attend the morning Papal Audience with Pope Francis  (pending the Holy Father’s schedule). After enjoying  lunch on your own, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, followed by a guided tour  of the resting place of the Apostle to the Gentiles. Commemorate this pilgrimage with a special farewell  dinner concluding your time in Rome.


Day 8: Thursday, November 20 - Depart Italy

Transfer to the Rome airport for return flights to USA.

*This price reflects a $100 per person Early  Booking Discount for deposits received before  December 31, 2024 and an $120 per person Check Discount for those paying the total cost  of the tour by check after initial deposit and  received on or before the final payment due date.

TRAVEL PROTECTION: 

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before June 15, 2025

Final Payment: Balance due on or before August 15, 2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
