ITINERARY


Day 1: Thursday, May 8 - Depart USA 

Depart the USA on overnight flights to Madrid, Spain.


Day 2: Friday, May 9 - Madrid

Upon arrival in Madrid, meet your local tour manager and board your luxury motorcoach to celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of La Almudena. Enjoy a panoramic city tour including the Royal Palace and the Puerta del Sol. Enjoy Plaza Mayor for lunch and leisure time before checking in at the hotel. Gather for a special Welcome Dinner this evening. Overnight in Madrid.


Day 3: Saturday, May 10 - Day Trip to Avila

Embark this morning on a day trip to Avila, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Spain’s highest city and birthplace of Saint Teresa. It boasts well-preserved 11th-century walls, among Europe’s most significant medieval relics. Explore the ramparts, Cathedral, and Monasterio de la Encarnacion, where St. Teresa began her religious life. Conclude the day with Mass at the convent before returning to Madrid and time to explore local cuisine on your own.


Day 4: Sunday, May 11 - Day Trip to Segovia

Embark on a day trip to Segovia, exploring its rich history and cultural landmarks. Marvel at the imposing Alcazar of Segovia and beautiful Cathedral of Segovia. Visit the Carmelite Church, home to the tomb of St. John of the Cross, before celebrating Mass. Followed by wine tasting and a vineyard tour at a local winery, experience some of the finest wine of the Ribera del Duero region. Return to Madrid for dinner at your leisure, concluding the day with prayer and sharing of graces at the hotel.


Day 5: Monday, May 12 - Madrid | Monastery of Santo Domingo el Real

Begin the day with a visit to the Monastery of Santo Domingo el Real and celebrate Mass - the first and only female monastery founded by St. Dominic and see the famous baptismal font. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and time to explore the many sites of Madrid before retiring to the hotel for a restful night’s sleep.


Day 6: Tuesday, May 13 - Madrid | Zaragoza

Check out of the hotel and journey to Zaragoza, where you’ll marvel at the grandeur of the Basilica del Pilar during a guided tour. Celebrate Mass before enjoying a leisurely afternoon. Gather for a group dinner, followed by a prayer and sharing of graces at the hotel with an overnight in Zaragoza.


Day 7: Wednesday, May 14 - Barcelona

Depart for Barcelona, where you’ll embark on a tour of the harbor, Montjuic, Plaza de Espana, and Plaza de Catalunya. Explore the Gothic Quarter, marvel at the majestic Cathedral and La Familia Sagrada, then celebrate Mass before visiting Las Ramblas. Gather for a group dinner featuring delicious paella and conclude the day with an overnight in Barcelona.


Day 8: Thursday, May 15 - Day Trip to Manresa | Montserrat

Embark on a visit to the cave of St. Ignatius, the Chapel of the Rapture, and Basilica of la Seu, followed by Mass. Continue to Montserrat and pray at the revered statue of the Black Madonna. After lunch on your own, return to Barcelona for an evening to dine at your leisure and overnight.


Day 9: Friday, May 16 - Free Day in Barcelona

After a day exploring Barcelona, conclude your pilgrimage with Mass and a special group farewell dinner. Reflect on your pilgrimage memories together in fellowship with prayer and sharing of graces at the hotel. Overnight in Barcelona.


Day 10: Saturday, May 17 - Depart for USA

Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport in Barcelona for return flights home.

*This price reflects a $200 per person Early  Booking Discount for deposits received before August 1, 2024 and a $125 per person Check  Discount for those paying the total cost of the  tour by Check. Payment must be received on  or before the final payment due date.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before December 9, 2024

Final Payment: Balance due February 6, 2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
