Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Join Fr. Dwight Longenecker on a pilgrimage that blends our Catholic faith with the rich history of Mexico. On this pilgrimage, you will tour historic places, such as Old Mexico City and the Shrine of Blessed Miguel Pro. Visit the renowned Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited Marian Shrine in the world, before experiencing a powerful presentation on Juan Diego's miraculous tilma. At Sisters of Mary Girlstown, you’ll be welcomed with Mass, a special musical performance, and a shared meal with the Sisters. Conclude the pilgrimage with the opportunity to pray in the personal chapel of Venerable Aloysius Schwartz, the founder of Girlstown, and a special farewell dinner at the hotel.  This entire journey offers the unique opportunity to deepen your faith and celebrate the vibrant heritage of our Catholic tradition within the Mexican culture.

ITINERARY


Day 1: Thursday, March 27 - Depart USA | Arrive in Mexico

Depart USA via independent flights to Mexico City. Upon arrival, celebrate an opening Mass, followed by a dinner and a presentation on Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Sisters of Mary. Overnight in Mexico City.


Day 2: Friday, March 28 - Arrive in Lisbon | Pyramids at Teotihuacan Shrine of Bl. Miguel Pro

Depart in the morning for an excursion to the pyramids of Teotihuacan. Afterward, tour Old Mexico City and the Shrine of Bl. Miguel Pro. Learn about the Cristero War and enjoy a group lunch. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight in Mexico City.


Day 3: Saturday, March 29 - Cathedral of the Assumption & Crypt Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

After breakfast, travel downtown for a guided tour of the Cathedral of the Assumption and crypt. Visit the Church of Santiago Tlatelolco (Baptismal Church of Juan Diego) before enjoying a group lunch. Then, head to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited Marian Shrine in the world. Experience a guided tour of the Shrine, which includes the tilma of St. Juan Diego, the New Basilica, the Old Basilica, and Tepeyac Hill. Celebrate a private Mass at the Basilica and then have free time to enjoy the Shrine. Return to the hotel for dinner on your own.


Day 4: Sunday, March 30 - Sisters of Mary Girlstown

Depart for Girlstown after enjoying breakfast at the hotel. Attend Mass with over 3,000 teenage girls, followed by an incredible musical performance by the girls and lunch with the Sisters of Mary. Tour Girlstown and have the opportunity to pray in the personal chapel of its founder, Venerable Aloysius Schwartz. Return to the hotel for a special farewell dinner and reception.


Day 5: Monday, March 31 - Depart Mexico | Return to USA

Celebrate a closing Mass, followed by breakfast at the hotel. Depart for the airport and return home via independent flights.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Final Payment: Balance due on or before 2/28/2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
